Frequently Asked Questions
What services do you offer?
I specialize in brand identity design. This includes logo design, brand color systems, typography selection, brand guidelines, and supporting visual assets. Depending on your package, additional items such as marketing materials, social media graphics, and other brand collateral may also be included.
How long does a typical project take?
Most brand identity projects take approximately 3–4 weeks from start to final delivery. The timeline can vary depending on the scope of the project and how quickly feedback is provided during the review stages.
What do I need to get started?
To begin the project, three things are required:
     1.     A signed design contract
     2.    The project deposit
     3.    Completion of the brand questionnaire
These steps help ensure we start the project with clear expectations and a strong understanding of your brand.
What is the brand questionnaire?
The brand questionnaire is a form that helps me understand your business, target audience, goals, design preferences, and brand personality. Your answers provide valuable insight that guides the entire creative process.
Will I be able to provide feedback during the design process?
Yes. Your feedback is an important part of the process. Once the initial concepts are presented, you’ll have the opportunity to review the designs and provide input so we can refine the direction together.
How many design concepts will I receive?
The number of concepts provided depends on the project package you selected. Each concept is thoughtfully developed to represent a unique direction for your brand.
What happens after the logo or core identity is approved?
Once the core identity is approved, I finalize the complete brand system and prepare all supporting brand elements included in your package. This may include brand assets, marketing materials, and organized files for future use.
What files will I receive?
You will receive a complete set of professional files for both digital and print use. These typically include high-resolution logo files, vector formats, and organized brand assets so your identity can be used across websites, social media, print materials, and more.
Will I own the rights to my brand design?
Yes. Once the final payment is completed, you will have full rights to use your brand identity for your business.
Can I request additional designs after the project is finished?
Absolutely. Many clients return for additional materials such as business cards, social media graphics, packaging design, or marketing assets once their brand identity has been launched.
Do you offer revisions?
Yes. The design process includes revision rounds to refine the selected concept and ensure the final identity aligns with your vision.
What if I need something that isn’t included in my package?
If you require additional items outside the scope of your package, they can usually be added to the project for an additional fee.
How can I contact you during the project?
Communication will primarily take place via email. This helps keep all project details organized and ensures nothing is missed throughout the design process.
For more immediate communication, I will also share my business contact details for calls and/or WhatsApp, along with the best times to reach me so we can communicate efficiently while respecting each other’s time.
Can I leave a review after my project is completed?
Yes. After you’ve had the opportunity to showcase your brand for a couple of weeks, you’ll be invited to return and share your experience by leaving a review. Your feedback helps future clients understand what it’s like to work together.
Additional Project Questions
What is the difference between a Brand Identity and a Visual Identity?
A brand identity is the overall personality and foundation of your brand. It includes your mission, values, voice, messaging, positioning, and the way your business communicates with its audience. In simple terms, it defines who your brand is and how it should be experienced.
A visual identity, on the other hand, is the visual expression of that brand. This includes elements such as your logo, color palette, typography, graphic styles, and other design components that create a consistent look across your website, social media, and marketing materials.
Think of it this way: the brand identity defines the strategy and personality, while the visual identity brings that personality to life through design.
Both work together to create a brand that is recognizable, consistent, and meaningful to your audience.
Why is the deposit non-refundable?
The deposit secures your place in my design schedule and covers the initial time spent on research, strategy, and concept development. Because work begins shortly after the project starts, deposits are non-refundable.
Do you offer rush projects?
Rush projects may be available depending on my schedule. Because they require adjustments to existing project timelines, rush services typically include an additional fee. If you have a deadline in mind, please mention it at the start of the project so we can determine what’s possible.
Do you offer unlimited revisions?
No. The design process includes a specific number of revision rounds to ensure the project stays focused and efficient. These revisions are more than enough to refine the design and align it with your vision. Additional revisions can always be requested if needed.
Can I get feedback from friends or colleagues during the design process?
While outside feedback can sometimes be helpful, too many opinions can often lead to confusion and conflicting directions. For the best results, I recommend gathering feedback from a small group of trusted decision-makers who understand your business and goals.
Why does the process begin with strategy before design?
Great design isn’t just about making something look good—it’s about creating something that works for your business. The strategy phase helps define your audience, brand personality, and positioning so the visual identity is built with purpose.
What happens if communication or feedback is delayed?
Timely communication helps keep the project moving according to schedule. If feedback is delayed for an extended period, the project timeline may need to be adjusted or rescheduled, depending on the current workload.
Can the scope of the project change once we begin?
If additional work is requested beyond what was originally agreed upon, it can usually be added to the project through a scope adjustment or additional service. Any new work will be discussed and approved before proceeding.
Do you guarantee a specific design outcome?
Design is a collaborative and creative process. While the final result is shaped through research, strategy, and your feedback, the goal is always to create a brand identity that represents your business clearly and professionally.
Why don’t you offer quick logo-only services?
A logo alone is rarely enough to build a strong brand. A full identity system—colors, typography, and visual elements—ensures your brand remains consistent and recognizable across all platforms.
